Over here in ADHD land;
I can absolutely hyperfocus my way through tasks...as long as they are for someone else and due in a couple of hours, even though the task was given to me three months ago.
I don't have ADHD but I felt this in my bones.
Sometimes I get tired of trying to focus and just zone out, hoping something useful gets done while I'm away.
Done by who? I'm in the unlucky position to be the only developer in the office. The worst part is, i used to have 2 colleagues, in the same agency. Now it's only me and i can't hope for that anymore. Zoning out isn't as fun anymore, knowing that I'm now just postponing the inevitable.
