"We now have a federal government that will threaten or arrest an elected official—or even everyday American citizens—who have broken no laws, committed no crimes, and done nothing wrong."
I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. Biden isn’t the president, [instead it’s] a complete fucking lunatic who doesn’t give a shit about the law is and he’s straight-up said he wants to jail his political opponents and/or deport them(even if they are citizens). Like, ok, so the Democrats are bad at having a spine, let me know when you’re actually part of this conversation.
Edit: add some clarity for the stupid people in the room, just in case.
Trump is a dictator, at least he is certainly acting like one.
All dictators, regardless of ideology, rule through fear. Being afraid is how they control people.
People generally aren't scared of the dictators themselves, I could defo beat trump 1 on 1, but rather are scared of what the mass of people that the dictator has scared into doing anything they want.
I personally feel that being fearful of trump is playing into his power, you can be angery, and upset or anything else, but to be scared is to give him control of your mind, and your actions.
Talk to people around you. Remind them we're all workers, without using leftist terminology just remind them we're all poor, homelessness isn't far away and the government doesn't have our best interest always.
