Google announces October 4 event for Pixel 8 and Pixel Watch 2

Nice. Looking forward to the event. Hopefully the time between phone announcement and release is short like last year. It was only six days for me.

The watch should be interesting also. Size is supposedly the same, so maybe the processor will yield more than one day of battery life? That's my hope anyway.

It's highly unlikely that Google will allow us to order any of its new products before our store credit, which we received when we purchased last year's devices, expires. Has this ever happened before in the past?
