You may have tried this already, but Microsoft does have a specific troubleshooter for Windows Hello via the Get Help app and at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/troubleshoot-problems-with-windows-hello-bf68539e-e95e-48b6-a6cb-455649db3887. Though if all else fails, you could also try uninstalling and then re-installing the "Facial Recognition (Windows Hello)" feature via Settings > Optional Features and see if that helps any or not.

Haven't had a ton of free time today to look over everything yet, but the Samsung display stuff I saw was pretty neat. Especially the transparent display. Lenovo also announced a neat 2-in-1 PC/tablet that runs both Windows and Android in their respective modes.
I haven't heard anything about any delays for any supported models, they are however gradually rolling out the update over the next week, so it won't be available for everyone at the same time.
Oh yeah, absolutely. I think there are plenty of privacy concerns that should be addressed. But I don’t know whether the OCR is processed locally or not. I know the plan for Windows 12 at least is to complete a good amount of the intelligence processing on-device, though that is reliant on specific hardware. And I don’t know how or whether these new features factor into that or not.
I'm not quite sure. I don't believe Microsoft has detailed exactly how it works yet. Though at the very least, it being baked-in to the Snipping Tool makes it more convenient for the average user.
Yeah, I certainly hope not. I'm fairly confident the two storylines will stay independent from one another.
@highhomes1994 I hadn't noticed it before, but I just checked and yeah it shows the same thing for me. I wonder what's going on with that. 🤔
While I do enjoy reading a physical book with real pages I can turn. I do prefer the convenience eBooks provide. I use both Kindle and Google Play Books, and its great cause I can just read on my phone whenever I have some time to spare, instead of always having to plan ahead and bring a book with me. And it's also had the added benefit of easier discovery of new reads and authors that I might not have come across otherwise. And I do have a Surface Duo, so I also enjoy how it does emulate that book-like feel when I open it up to read something.
There are a few different things I try to do each day to find little moments of happiness here and there. Anything, no matter how small, can have a bigger impact on our mental health than we may initially think. When I have the time, I like to sit down and do a little bit of coding, or do some design work for a new project I want to start (even though there's a high chance I'll move on from it soon 😅). Also getting into a good book is always nice, spending time hiking or just going to a park somewhere, or even a little DIY craft project can be a lot of fun. But when I'm a little busier even little things like music, or journaling, or even a drink I really enjoy can all go a long way in boosting my mood.
I agree 100%. It definitely isn't a big problem yet (as far as I'm aware at least), but it's only a matter of time until it becomes one.
Oh neat, I think that's a great idea.
That's awesome. Love the little animation too.
Oh my gosh, those look amazing! 🤩 I love the idea of various magazines using something similar like this. Aside from them just being cool, I like how they bring some uniformity to the magazines on the platform while also visually expressing themselves in a unique and creative way. Unfortunately I can't think of a way for the magazines I run to be adopted to this 3D format, but if I run into anyone looking for an icon for their magazines, I'll definitely send them your way!
@Teon Yes! Having that would be really nice.
Thanks everyone for all the hard work y'all have put into the development of Artemis! I can't wait to test it out at some point.

I don't know about Pixel devices, but normally for Duos the AT&T variants of the updates come about a week later. I think it has something to do with AT&T certifying the update for devices on their network or something.
