Senate Democrats overwhelmingly reject restricting US arms sales to Israel
The resolutions, like the previous ones Sen. Sanders advanced less than four months ago, had no chance of passing and were aimed at covering up the bipartisan support for genocide in Washington.
For the second time in the less than four months, the US Senate has resoundingly voted in support of continuing the genocide in Gaza by rejecting two resolutions aimed at blocking some $9 billion in weapons to the Israeli government.

It's worth noting that all of the 15 voting to restrict arms sales were Democrats.

So 15% of the senate, 30% of the partizan faction in the Democratic Party feels this way.
It may be that this is an issue that is large enough to be electorally relevant.
Compared to 61% of all constituents, 70% of just democratic constituents (as of jan 18 2025)
Both Hawaii senators voted for human rights and against genocide! I am pleased. At least we have a tiny sliver of civilization left in the US government. NM too, looks like. Good on you, NM.
