Check out an app called Karrot. It's basically craigslist but you periodically have to confirm your location, so you know all items are local. It also has a shockingly accurate photo identification and pricing feature.

Misen is the gold standard, but unless you are rich or a pro chef, the Merten and Storck pan is just as good.

I switched to a carbon steel frying pan recently and couldn't be happier. All the benefits of cast iron but a fraction of the weight. Just as nonstick as Teflon without the health risks. Highly recommended.

Honestly, I gave up on dealing with bed adhesion issues on fine parts and just use a glue stick on the bed.

I've absolutely ordered chicharron from a Mexican place where it was just pork skin with a green sauce. It can be tricky to know exactly what you are getting just based on the name.

There's a pretty authentic Venezuelan place near me whose chicharron is deep fried skinless pork belly, so there's definitely regional variations.

It looks heartwarming until you realize they were actually wearing the skins of Tigger's family.
