It's about goddamn time that this was automated.
Correct me if I’m wrong but the problem lies in the fact that cameras can’t see through bodies, and usually there’s always a level of doubt about where the ball is regardless of quality of camera. We need a chip in the ball. This seems like nothing has really changed imo
- It does get rid of the ridiculous chain gang running onto the field to measure something well within the margin of error of the tool.
