I don't get it.

Yeah, she really really pale, or coated in sunscreen.

Ha, true! I burn easy, I hate missing a spot when applying sunscreen. For her sake, I hope it's both.
Yeah I know but what does it have to do with her being Irish?
Irish are known for their naturally dark skin and inability to sunburn.
I hadn't heard that before. So the Irish are superhuman? Badass!
