Yeah pretty much, I think the 40K people have it worse
You start screaming, then nothing changes, so you keep screaming because that's definitely worse.
Even working there would probably be more exciting than most other jobs. I'd totally work there if I could. I haven't checked but I feel like ratio of SCPs that inflict large amounts of suffering in comparison to just killing or erasing you are are pretty good so being a D-class wouldn't even be that bad.
