PeerTube: the Fediverse’s decentralized video platform (part 1: first impressions)

First impressions: "Well this whole concept is a broken mess that could have a lot of promise if it were run correctly...."

For some reason, at the start, most videos I got recommended in the mobile app were in french.

I guess I need to find some channels I'd want to subscribe to, and go from there

Just got my server set up, took me about 45 minutes on digital ocean. Started uploading videos. Excited to help it grow
