This is an initiative to ban conversion therapy in the EU, if you are an EU citizen please consider signing it.

This is a more serious post than normal, but I feel this is important to share.

EDIT: Also how long should this remain pinned? The collection period is for another 2+ weeks, should it stay up until then? Here's a form

The collection period has passed, and the initiative has surpassed the threshold of 7 countries and 1 million signatures. I'm going to be unpinning this for now. You can read more about the organization's progress at https://act.lgbt/.
Signed, but a bit cynical about it, since my country, Hungary would likely do everything in its power to sabotage it, and EU liberals are no better than democrats.
- Well, let's hope Orbán is too busy with blocking aid to Ukraine to also block this
Does anyone know whether this is actually possible under the current treaty without unanimous approval of all member states? I know it fits with EU values but I'm not sure these matters are an EU competency (i.e. area EU can legislate)
I turn 18 in a week, signing this will probably be the second thing I do after my birthday (the first one will be drinking myself to blackout to forget the current state of the world)
