If you don't want Steam games that have AI Generation in them, you might want to check out the new filter on SteamDB. Making it a bit easier to get rid of them from your searches.
Does that include AI generated code?
Code is also part of Steam's required AI disclosure form , so I think it should be filtered as well
Depending on how that's implemented, that's quite stupid, I use copilot a lot at work, it's really good at guessing what you want to put on the line once you start typing it, does that count as AI generated?
What if I want a simple sort function but don't want to google for the 50th time when I am supposed to return -1 and when 1.
Copilot is a great productivity tool not much else, what's next, let's disclose if you used and IDE instead of just the built in windows Notepad?

AI generated code is usually boilerplate and tools like copilot, cursor, etc are huge productivity uplifts.
Like them or not, they are here to stay. A lot of code written by developers isn’t unique or novel.
AI generated code is useful.
I strongly dislike AI slop and I hate ai being shoved everywhere, but I’m also a realist. I use AI code everyday in my job because my job doesn’t pay me to have principaled stands, they pay me to deliver features.
Filtering out big studios is the only filter I want or need. I personally dont care if an indie studio uses AI in their game if the story is good.
Can we please have this for Lemmy, Mbin or Piefed like the nsfw toggle.
