It is difficult to replace leadership. Even if there is an established process, it is difficult to replace leadership.
Non-violence is preached for change but we might not have had BLM protests if MLK wasn't shot. There might have been less protections for pedophile priests if the pope during that scandal was shot. We might not have our minority generals and navy officers fired if BLM was violent.
