Oh great, a bunch of people are angry that the people they elected are doing what they said they would while campaigning. (I'm gonna guess at least some of them voted Republican).
I mean Atlanta is a bit of a liberal bastion so maybe that's a touch off but I swear I have been seeing way too many posts and news articles from people that voted for Trump upset that he's doing what he said he would. Like why the fuck did you vote for him then?

The City of Atlanta (10% of the population of the metro area) is, but Roswell is one of the more relatively-conservative suburbs. Not as conservative as somewhere like Kennesaw or the rural parts of the state, but less liberal than the majority-minority suburbs in places like Dekalb or Gwinnett, and way less progressive than in-town neighborhoods like the one I live in.
Point is, the people angry at this Republican congressperson were his constituents, attending a town hall in his district -- so yeah, a lot of them likely voted Republican.
Edit: I realized belatedly that this is the !atlanta thread, not the !politics one, so apologies if you're a local who obviously already knows this context. But maybe you just wandered in from browsing 'all' or something and aren't local, in which case I hope the explanation helps.
Because they're stupid and trying to fit in. I'm from NC, we're beginning to see the same thing here, just waiting for Medicaid and/or Social security cuts to actually go into effect and a lot of older people really start bitching.
