I do as well, except the left side has a disposal inlet and I've long since replaced the faucet. It's a pain that it's so shallow, I end up splashing myself every time I do the dishes, I want to remodel this kitchen something fierce.
I'm not saying this to put people down or invalidate efforts in any way but ever since I broke out of the cycle of looking at depressed/depressing memes I started feeling better. This constant reminder of how bad things can be never helped me. It feels great making the meme and getting it off of your mind but consuming it was awful. Not saying that's the end-all-be-all but again, not being reminded about it constantly helped a lot more than I thought it would. Take that for what it's worth, maybe this is a boost for someone, maybe someone thinks I'm being patronizing.
Like with anything, I think moderation is the key. It's time to confirmed with what's going on in the world. But you can't let yourself doom scroll into a spiral.
How much is too much is different for everyone and their situation.
This would be far more wholesome and motivating if the sink didn't have gross gunk behind it.
Procrastinating dishes is one thing, but letting actual filth sit around is more than just procrastination. You can't say it's "procrastination" if you don't wipe your ass after you shit, even if you say "I'll do it later".
