Thousands of datasets from Data.gov have disappeared since Trump's inauguration. What's going on?

Is been 13 days, so not even 2 weeks in and we've already had:

• 2 aerial incidents with fatalities
• Officials in Charge resigning
• an undeniable comeback of neo Nazism
• prosecutors and investigators from Jan 6 fired
• ICE raids on several states
• Price increases in groceries, eggs, gas
• A 60 year setback for DEI policies
• LGBTQ rights affected
• Import Tariffs for both our biggest trading partners

And that's just from the tip of my tongue, I'm sure theres more shit I have not had the time to read.

This is why all publicly funded data should be openly available to everyone, so it can be replicated and no single dictator can destroy it.

Yeah, archive.org should probably consider moving to a free country.

Hopefully they start making hidden backups
