Fair, sorry. I've taken it down. You mentioned in a comment in this thread that you'd be okay with me keeping it there if I added credit, which is nice of you. I think your profile (and your original nsfw version of this character) is probably too nsfw to link to unfortunately. A lot of the character cards and character card sites seem to be very heavy on the nsfw content.
I should probably create all the example characters from scratch with some help from Claude or R1. Some of them have already been almost completely rewritten and have different pics, but even then the original creator still deserves credit for the core idea.
(That said, I'll probably attempt to selfishly put off a re-write of the examples for now because at some point in the hopefully-very-near future I'll finish creating the "database plugin", and at that point the work to redo the examples would be wasted because the examples will be removed in favor of a community-contributed database of characters, implemented using that plugin.)
Actually for quite a while now I've been using images generated by my fans. I've had one or two artists whose art I used ask me to remove it, and I did. I also had one artist create more art of the character because she loved what I did with her. Point being I don't mind my writing being used, but it would be nice if someone at least acknowledged it.
It's not just a vague description. It's apparently a description good enough to serve as a template. Again I'm not asking for anything other than a credit. Because I wrote it, and they took what I wrote and they are using it without asking me.
"Because I wrote it, and they took what I wrote and they are using it without asking me."
I'm using that, and I'm not gonna tell anyone where I got it from! MWahahahahaha!
For real... it'd make sense if it was some sort of original idea... but it's literally a generic descriptor made up of other generic descriptions. And not even in any sort of "unique" combination. You fighting this fight would be like trying to claim that someone copying any one of the above sentences is "stealing my work".
I'm just asking to be credited for people using my writing. It's not like they used their own AI to make a similar character, they just copy pasted my work. I don't make money off of this, but it would be nice to be acknowledged if they think my work is good enough to be an example.
What makes you think it's not an automated process? What do the terms and conditions say about your rights and whether you give Perchance the right to use your inputs to the system?
