JFC, the more I learn about my former home state, the more l fucking hate it. Guy spent 27 years in solitary confinement?

Solitary should only be a day tops punishment for in-jail infractions, and only if there's are no other working options (not due to negligence to acquire and operate those options).

Texas only cares about revenge and paying the owners of private prisons. It cares nothing about rehabilitation or treating people who made mistakes like human beings.
