Fortnite is getting a 5v5 FPS mode that's basically Counter-Strike and launches in just a few days

Fornite is no longer a game it's a platform for games. I wonder if shitty movie tie-in games are now going to be shitty movie tie-in games, but they're on Fortnite.
- Well, fortnite is already full of shitty movie tie-in skins, so that's not much of a jump.

- Fortnite is a commercial that occasionally breaks out into a game.
All games eventually evolve a counterstrike mod. It's the carcinisation of games.

  Not always, Apex Legends added a 3v3 Arenas mode on smaller maps way after the initial battle royale release.
While this is peripherally interesting to hear, without Linux support ^[1][2], I am not personally interested.

  Thank you for noticing 😊 — I have hope that it's a practice that will catch on eventually. I do my best to not engage in conjecture: If I make any claim, I try to make sure that I cite it. The same sort of thing goes for anything derived from logic — ie I do my best to describe my thought processes to make sure that I reduce the possibility of incorrect assumptions being made on anything that I post. It's a little bit tedious at times, but I think it's important.
- Damn shame Linux is so unfriendly to anti cheats. So many people would switch if their games actually ran, including I.
  
  other way around, anticheats are unfriendly to linux. they violate the security model of the system, and they don't even have to.
  epic's anticheat even has a working Linux version that you can enable with a toggle in the management interface. devs just don't do it. this includes epic.

Thank god "kicks" are supported in this mode, or else I wouldn't be able to show my support for nike
It's a shame cs is one of the worst-feeling shooters for me... actually fortnite's shooting felt awful too, it's a huge part of why I couldn't get into it.
- At least Counter-Strike is on Linux.
Why the fuck don't they just focus on Save the World!? It's the only best game mode in that game! Also, why they can't bring this mode to Switch?
