Changing of the Guard: Democrats are starting to deal with their gerontocracy problem. But there are still battles to come.

It's not so much that they're dealing with it, as that they did nothing until the oldest ones became too old to function.

They could (and should) impose a mandatory retirement age for any senior roles.
