I wonder if these comics have a specific audience. I never find them funny, but people keep sharing them, so there has to be people that enjoy them.

  Yeah I think they just made a mistake or have misunderstood. Given the reference to "internet format dates" they must be talking about ISO 8601.

- Y/D/M? Seriously? The whole point of putting the broader numbers first is so you can sort them better. Why throw that out the window halfway through?
