Is it acceptable to turn the rich into mulch and feed plants with said mulch?

I'm all for the revolution, but not immensely keen on meat. Wouldn't want it to go to waste, though!
- Compost the rich is perfectly valid.
  
  Excellent! Gonna get some mean tomatoes out of them!
- Do you want prions in the soil? Because that's how you get prions in the soil/plants
  
  Afaik (and I may be completely wrong on this, please do correct me!), prions are primarily tied to neural tissue, aren't they? In which case, we can always throw away the heads... Not much of a waste there, anyway...
