How to gayify my place without creating holes?
I have my first non shared apartment. I want to gayify it. I have a small magnet of a mostly nude man I'll put on the oven but I was thinking more. I don't want holes from nails. I wanted fairy lights but I cannot think of a way to hang them without nails. I don't think tape can hold the ones with bigger lights. :( I'm open to suggestions!
I recommend using something like a command hook, which is meant to be stuck onto a surface
combined with a double-sided foam tape
The foam tape works better than the actual command strip because it can stick to both sides despite the wall having bumps in the paint. The actual command stickers are really bad at sticking to painted walls with any texture.

Top result I found for the combo of fairy lights and blutack says they fell off. :(
I've used these double sided sticky dots before they tend to be decent for mounting light objects to the wall like paintings and mirrors etc. Although no idea what kind of residue they leave behind or discolouration.
I've also used bookshelves to decorate without drilling holes. Can throw lots of crap on them to fill out a room and make it look cool.
I would just make holes and then worry about covering them up later. Are the walls a pretty standard color? If that's the case, there's probably a putty you can use to cover up the holes very easily.
Holes are extremely easy to fill in on a white wall, regardless of size. Caulk can be bought for like $3 for a tube, plus a putty knife for another $3 and a caulk gun for $5. You really shouldn't let that stop you from decorating.
