Building lemmy on a local machine, docker has been building for hours?

ran docker-compose up -d. It's been about 9 hours and counting and it's still building 2/2. The machine has an i5-9300h and 16gb of ram, running the latest distro of Debian.

Seems to me like something isn't working. Does anyone have insight on what might be the problem?
