You should be. We should all be concerned about our futures. I'm a white, CIS guy, and I'm concerned. We're completely off the rails now.
I'm a white CIS guy as well, and I'm worried to the point I can barely function this morning.
I work at a not for profit hospital that's already on a shoestring budget. Any cuts to government healthcare coverage and my department may as well get slashed in half
<sigh> In a country with a barely functioning (for the non-wealthy) medical system, it can still get worse.
I'm concerned about your futures too. My daughter is queer and as of 2 am this morning, we've been working on plans to get to the UK, where I have dual citizenship.
Doo it. You should me able to get a family visa as long as your daughter is under 18 and your family income is over £29k.

I think our best hope is to move to California and then wait for The Big One to break CA off from the rest of the US.
Move to Alaska. We need more left-leaning people. We're already starting to go purple and our population is so low that it probably won't take much to get us to go solidly blue.
Plus, you won't have to wait for a massive earthquake to separate you from the rest of the country. Canada will do that.
