Booking an overnight room

How is this infuriating?

Would you like to sleep in a bed with clean sheets and have a shower in a clean cubicle?

How do you think that this happens?

I’m really curious what you expect an overnight room would entail

You can ask (and sometimes pay for) early check in and late check out. But yeah the staff needs time to turn over the room.

Just ask staff if you can check in earlier or check out later. They can arrange for such things. Why would you even want to spend your day in a small hotel room? Go out and do something with your time away from home.
