PSA: dont use Aluminium, the soft Metall will rub of and get stuff black and dirty
Would this actually work? I have no clue about the capabilities of aluminum for heat transference, does it need a fan blowing over it, or will a cool room work?
It's a common metal to use in heatsinks, including fanless systems, so pretty well I'd say.
Can't speak to the comfort of it though, they make actual blankets you can buy with the same properties that actually feel like a blanket.
Shut up and take my money?
