Pleading not guilty means "I want a trial, prove I'm guilty", NOT "I'm innocent"

I don't know who he is, or what he did, but this isn't news worthy
- Mayor of New York City. Not sure what your threshold is for important, but it needs adjustment
- Well, he's the Mayor of New York indicted on corruption charges. I'd surmise that's objectively news worthy.

- He’s the mayor of a little place called New York City. Maybe you’ve heard of it?
- "Mayor of the most populated city in the United States being indicated and making his plea isn't news worthy" is a hella weird take ngl
  
  Pleading not guilty is standard procedure. I'd be more surprised if he plead guilty right out of the gate.
- It's a major world city with a history of corruption. All of this is big. There may even be others involved we don't know about.
