James Spader Returning as Ultron for Marvel’s Vision Series

Marvel Studios’ untitled Vision series will be a follow-up series to its acclaimed WandaVision (and connect to Agatha All Along).

The new show is eying a shoot in England in early 2025.

Terry Matalas, the much-heralded showrunner of Star Trek: Picard, is spearheading the new show.

Only Paul Bettany (White Vision) and James Spader (Ultron) have been announced so far.

Movie aside, Spader was a great choice for Ultron and I'm glad to see him again.
- I thought he was better in the trailer than the actual movie, but that was more on the writing making Ultron less scary, than anything Spader did. I agree, he did a great job.
I thought they did Ultron dirty by not making him smart enough to keep at least one copy of himself at home while he went out to fight the Avengers
- They were too razor focused on setting up Thanos as a big bad. I'd bet if Disney knew the morass they'd be in now, we'd have seen an Ultron survival tease.
  
  It's as simple as setting up an opening with a discarded usb some goon plugs into their pc. They don't need to have it in the older movie at all.
- I mean, in the comics that's pretty much his thing, Ultron always comes back with another update.
This is all very exciting.
