It's a good thing his fenced property was protected by Secret Service agents. Gun control for me but not for thee.

On the one hand, I don't believe in political violence. On the other hand, the morality of assassinating Trump is an awful lot like asking oneself, "Would it be morally acceptable to go back in time and assassinate Hitler?"

And anyway, we don't know yet that this is political violence. The last guy who tried to kill him was a Republican who was probably just trying to make a name for himself while committing suicide by cop.

I had heard there were shots, but this is the first I heard that it was an assassination attempt.

I wonder if it will make him stop playing golf.

I’m not advocating for anything but I want to point out that the threat of gun violence is a near daily occurrence for most Americans. So I’m not shedding any tears for Trump.

It is almost like words have consequences.

I predicted that as more Trump supporters realized they've been duped and grifted that they would be mightily upset.

This is why golfers should be able to carry assault rifles at golf courses and Trump rallies: they too should have a fighting chance against assassins.

Lol this guy is a NATOid apparently, and tried to illegally recruit Afghan soldiers to fight for Ukraine. This is hilarious.

It really shouldn’t be so hard to hit a target this big. Are they failing on purpose?
