Please immediately reneg on this promise as soon as you are sworn in. Please.
- There's some that aren't completely off the rails party loyalists. There's Liz Cheney. And Charlie Baker. And probably at least a couple more.
  
  And none of them should be appointed by a Democratic president to their cabinet. There are plenty of Democrats that don't need the qualification of being "not completely off the rails Republican loyalists".
Might be a good way to pull a repube out of the Senate. Create a dogcatcher cabinet position.
Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy is a cabinet-level position. I'm sure there's some Republican Lite "I hate taxes" scientist she can find.
