The fandom is making a good showing (if not as overwhelming as the My Little Pony space).
If you haven’t yet tried (or succeeded) in dropping a pixel, just head to the Canvas and login identifying your instance and username. You’ll be sent a PM with a confirmation code to authenticate your login.
Once in you can just drop pixels or join a faction. So far there are two active Star Trek factions: Quark’s (short name QUARK) and The Klingon Empire (short name KLINK) that you can join.

Yeah, except for that damned pus-filled boil that is the Osu logo. It's a pox that never goes away. I despise every person involved with putting it there.
To be fair, its an open source game, so I don't really mind that much. And the logo that's here is already smaller than the original one lol.
I've tooken up the mantle of a Klingon emblem, to the bottom left of our Delta.
Didn’t know this was a thing so I visited the canvas and saw it’s completely overrun by MLP. I guess I now know the demographics of the average Lemmy user.

I can see why you felt it necessary. The flags of Ireland has apparently grown into the wordmark.
I am adding a Vulcan IDIC hand emoji in between things for much the same reason.

Side question, does Canvas have chat? I see it in settings but don't see UI to use it anywhere.
We are supposed to be able to chat within a faction with active members.
I haven’t been able to figure out how to make it work either. Since the admin is only available via an account on Matrix, and asking about basic functionality isn’t at all sensitive, it seemed better to reach out within the community for tips.
