Samsung Curve Monitor T55 black screen suddenly

I have the T55 27inch curve monitor that randomly went to a black screen and will not display anything.

No built-in menu, no pop up saying searching for inputs like HDMI. Nothing.

I was playing "For the King 2", and my monitor just goes dark. My pc was still running the game and I could hear others in Discord just fine.

Right now i am unsure of what to do. I have tried the following:

Unplug monitor for 30+ seconds
Checked HDMI cable
Held the Jog switch for 1 minute
Plugged monitor into the wall
Tried using the directional functions on jog switch (just cause screen to flicker on and off but nothing is displayed.
Restarting computer (which obviously did nothing).

Am at a loss right now. Had this monitor for about 3 years so I think the warranty is gone. What do I do if it doesn't start working in its own again?

Edit 2: I decided to contact Best Buy and see about trade-ins, and discovered I bought the 4 year extended warranty!! So i got it exchanged for a "different" model... Which turned out to be the exact same thing just called something else.

First step will always be to try it with another computer/laptop/etc. The fact that you're not getting a menu doesn't bode well, though...

Is the screen black or is the whole monitor unpowered? It might be hard to tell the difference, but would be a good first hint as to what's gone wrong.

  I have just plugged my monitor into my Nintendo Switch, and still nothing on-screen BUT sound comes through the speakers.
  
  So that's a good sign.
  
  I do NOT have the jog switch menu memorized so idk how to mess with brightness to see if it went to zero some how.
  
  Edit: so I was able to find and download the user manual for my specific monitor. I have confirmed that the brightness is set to 100% because the backlight does come on. Will edit post with pictures.
