Reminds me of that Windows 9x tube screensaver.
26 0 ReplyYeah same actually, now that you mention it
5 0 ReplyI first saw the post, liked it but didn't look at the comments. Just came back and I didn't see this thread but I saw the other more recent comment about the sense of familiarity. Went back to look at the art again and that's when the windows wallpaper connection happened, and then I saw these comments.
I'd love a loooong version of this for a spot in my house for which I struggle to find something.

Love this!
4 0 ReplyThere was a guy on public access TV that used to draw sci-fi scenes using tubes. This reminds me of that. Thank you.
Also I like how it looks almost like yarn. It’s a pleasant texture.
3 0 ReplyMark Kistler? If so, I loved watching that when I was a kid.
1 0 ReplyI think it was a little before his time. His stuff is good though
1 0 ReplyOh my God Secret City, I haven't thought about that show in ages.

Copics and felt tip? I dig it. Kinda looks like Tetsuo is coming for you =) My favorite part is all the little stippling =)
2 0 ReplyI did this one with inks. Brush for the colors, dip pen (and a bit of brush) for the black.

Love this, getting Yellow Submarine / Terry Gilliam vibes from it!
2 0 ReplyIt's trippy, I love it
2 0 ReplyThere's something both unique and familiar about this work. It's kinda exhilarating, to be honest. It's enigmatic, too.
2 0 ReplyI hope there's a teapot hidden in there somewhere.
