We're liveblogging the latest Diablo 4 development livestream about the upcoming Patch 1.1.1. Check back often for updates!
Tons of nice changes to Sorc and Barb (skills, items, and paragon). Also, a smaller number of changes to all other classes’ skills, items, and paragon. Looks like they’re erring on the side of slightly overpowered rather than underpowered. Talked about removing or reducing the effects where there’s a buff but it has a downside (I believe the term they used was “kiss curse”). Improvements to mounts, VRAM issue fixes, exit dungeon back to 3 seconds, making all reasonable builds/fantasies (like companion druids) possible and have parity, increased mob density, and lots more.
I don’t even know what they were trying to do with the exit dungeon bump of 5s. Like why? Just to irritate everyone for no real reason in particular.

Cannot wait for this as I get frequent game crashes and even system hard freeze when playing D4 on my 7900XTX...
Overall the buffs look good. Still unsure about sorc survival, but I’m sure it’ll get ironed out. Just from what I saw it looks like lightning sorc and firewall will be the big builds for sorc post 1.1.1
Agreed. Hard to say without playing, of course, but it looks like it’s going in the right direction and they’re focusing on damage reduction (which they mentioned was really strong) instead of armor and resistances. Might finish my chain lightning Sorc’s journey to 100 after the patch.
I am looking forward to only having to push a fury generator 9 times instead of 10.
just caught the end of this, it appears like they're really trying to do right by the player base
I'm hoping this fixes broken druid companion DMG.
They act as if they are level 1 mobs (wolves/ravens). So they are basically not scaling at all.
That's not to say that 4x wolves out and 4x ravens makes for a not shabby core DMG boost with Shepard's Aspect per companion out.
But otherwise sadly broken garbage :/
I'm still leveling as a druid and the pets seem to basically be a high cooldown active skill. The passive damage is useless but the poison creeper active is my most effective AOE.
Playing an Infinimist Necro this season and am hyped for the dungeon monster density buffs.
Various rogue builds too.
