This is not really "not the onion" though...
Sure, the headline is written kinda funny with the "forced to use brain", but I don't think the story is wild enough...If you were to ask the university students that i overhear at lunch you would absolutely believe this was very significant. Soo many people use it and not just for inspiration.
Reminds me of a news segment from The Onion Movie, which came out long before the internet became an integral part of international commerce:

Yeah. I was genuinely startled at the 'not' in the Lemmy name. I bet the Onion writers are actually feeling bummed that they missed this beat.
