Wifi 6 doesn't support 6Ghz, you have to use Wifi 6E for that, which seems intentionally confusing.

I disagree. The number has never had anything to do with frequency.
see wi-fi 4, which operates on the 2.4 and 5ghz bands
It's a missed opportunity for the 2 things to finally line up.
