This owl was photographed in Bulgaria.
The Little Owl is found all over much of Eurasia, from the UK to Korea, and has been exported to New Zealand as well!
Little Owls can also be found in parts of the Middle East and North Africa, where the coloration becomes noticeably paler.
This first example was photographed in Iraq.
And this one is from Tunisia.
