The Dutch artist Joost Klein has been disqualified from the Eurovision Song Contest 2024
...following "a complaint made by a female member of the production crew after an incident following his performance in Thursday night’s Semi Final."
He "made a threatening gesture" at the camera who kept filming him while he said repeatedly he didn't wanted to be filmed at that time.
That's really the only relevant thing here and it's only barely relevant. This is really stretching the definition of news.

I'm hoping some of the other acts no-show or pull out in advance in support of him. The actions of the EBU have been opaque and frankly awful.
To be fair we don't know exactly what he did. From what I've read it sounds like he somehow harassed an employee in the production crew, which honestly should be reason for exclusion. Assuming that is what happened, it doesn't seem unjust and I don't think the other participants should try to justify such behaviour.
According to the dutch news orgs, he made a “threatening gesture” towards a (female) camera operator, after he asked not to be filmed, repeatedly (there were not supposed to be cameras at that point, so the request was not unjustified). There was no physical contact.
