Researchers Develop AI to Predict Resignation Risk With New Recruits
Japanese businesses are facing a growing problem of new recruits who quit shortly after they join their companies in April, which is at the start of a new business year.
What could go wrong?
The developers plan to upgrade the AI so that it can predict appropriate assignments of jobs for new employees
"The AI says you're probably going to quit so we're going to start you out on a really boring, mundane, low-risk task."
"Fuck this sucks. I quit."
"Wow this AI is so good at predicting things!!"
AI: "This person is stupid, lied on their application, and learned nothing with that fake degree from a garbage for-profit company. They will never quit because they have no other options and you're an idiot if you hire them."

The newly-developed AI is fed with data on attendance records of all employees at a company, genders, characteristics and personnel affairs, as well as data on employees who left the company or took an extended leave of absence.
Notably absent are the characteristics of the company, compensation packages, leadership structures and style.
