Are they, tho? Key word here is "Nirvana brand t-shirts," not "Nirvana band t-shirts.
Chaya is obviously not representative (also, she's middle aged herself), but I'm assuming for most Gen Z kids Nirvana is probably seen in a similar way as how we saw the Beatles back in the 90s, just something you discovered as you were developing your musical taste.
