This reminds me of a book I used to read to my son and nephew where there are some Pie-Rats who board a boat, tie up the captain and eat the pie his wife baked for him.

Me too I've play them all and the ones I lile most are the lago stories ones(without movie franchises) Bricktales is very fun, lego worlds too but the best is Lego city undercover. It's like a lego GTA! Super underated
