Isn't matrix supposed to be end to end encrypted and all that? Your old posts won't even be visible to someone who takes your account IIRC.

Lollll now that's one way to put it!
Matrix is only end to end encrypted if you turn on end to end encryption. I've personally had nothing but issues with its encryption.
