Can someone do the math on what the circumference of the earth is?
it's 40000km If you do the math it works out that the drop is about 6nanometers per foot
So we are always walking downhill. Nice.
Only if you're walking east.
I did some quick math and I found that it's at least 120 inches.
Interesting if true
Here's my methodology. I took my tape measure and laid it flat on the ground in a straight line. My tape measure only goes till 120 inches and it didn't go around the world. So I concluded that the Earth must be longer than that.
Lmk if you spot any errors in my calculations.
That seems high.
Measured around the poles, the circumference is 40,007.863 km (24,859.734 mi)
