Seems outside of what one would expect from a terminal. There's dedicated app to handle this task.
Sorry if I sound dumb, but which kind of program would be the one to display the output of text based interfaces, also called terminal applications, if not a terminal?
Waybar/polybar or one of the scriptable widget systems.
It appears to have the display functionality of swaybar, the default dock of Sway.
