I loved winter when it was actually snowing. Now I prefer spring I think.
Man, thinking about that makes me so depressed. Growing up we'd have the snow cover lasting for months on end during the winter, commonly several feet of snow too. These days we're lucky if the snow remains for a week before it thaws even at the height of December.
It is amazing how circumstances will mould the things we want. Our yard has been covered by 5 feet of snow since December. All I want is to see some green...
Here in Poland, we have significantly less snow than we used to, but I just enjoy the atmosphere of winter. I totally understand you.
