Class warfare is not real. Workers don't identify each other by class. An white American from Dixie is not going to identify with a labourer from Africa. People identify each other through religion, culture and language.
Yes, that's the point. Class warfare is real—it's just that most of one side hasn't realized it's happening.
Exactly how they want you to think.
