I'm finding it hard to find concise info on what's been going on in/around Iran. Can anyone throw a brief timeline of events for me? Pretty pretty please?

Iran has been a loud chihuahua for a long time and wants to destroy Israel for legacy reasons. In order to save face, every now and then they boost something but they’re careful to not actually kill anyone, especially Americans. Israel finally got sick of it and shoot rockets at Tehran and Irans nuclear facilities, because they were getting dangerously close to making a nuclear bomb. Iran retaliated by shooting rockets at Israel. Trump wanted to save face and threw bombs on a nuclear facility, claiming they’re destroyed. This is not confirmed by the international nuclear committee. Iran retaliated by shooting rockets at U.S. bases in Qatar and Iraq, being careful not to kill any U.S. citizens. Trump then suddenly said please ceasefire, and both nations declared victory for themselves and stopped shooting rockets at each other.

Iran has been "developing nuclear weapons" for 30 years. They're strangely bad at it.

Hum, no. They are "dangerously close" to making them for 30 years... Actually "a week away" from making them.
They have actually been working on them for 60 years. IMO, it looks like that some 20 years ago, the Iran leadership decided to solve all of the hard problems and stop there so they can move fast if they need to.

Israel has been claiming they are "a week away" from having the bomb for 30 years. They have been working on a bomb for 60 years, since the US worked with them to start their nuclear project.
Some 20 years ago they got in a situation where it would actually take a couple of months to make a bomb. They seem to have stopped there on purpose.
Is that the part that was confusing?
They are strangely bad at it, and they have to keep it as hidden as possible. From the people of Iran and from the international governments.

You’re not biased at all, are you. I don’t care how evil Israel’s government is. Iran’s government is exactly as evil, if not more evil.
You must be the spokesperson for the United States of Israel. Ignoring a live-broadcasted genocide just to spread your hatred for Iran. No one is claiming the Iranian regime is good. But nothing is worse than the terrorist state of Israel.
