Ron DeSantis rips federal tailpipe emission monitoring, 'woke roads'
The Governor doesn't want to 'jump through ... hoops' to get federal money, such as curbing pollution and looking at road designs that ripped up urban neighborhoods.
Florida Man: “They did this infrastructure bill, and you get the bill and they try to give you money. But then you’ve got to jump through all these hoops,” DeSantis said. “I have to monitor tailpipe emissions for Florida drivers. I am not doing that. I’m not doing the woke roads. I’m not doing any of that.”

These fucking people. Woke just means anything that they don’t like. You could say “radical leftist” roads and it would have the same effect. Also, LOL at the idea of roads chanting “Black Lives Matter”. Let’s actually get on that so the Owen Shroyer’s, the Steve Bannon’s, the Jack Pasobeic’s can all gnash their teeth. Maybe they’ll take the DEI Communist train. At least the ads remind them of capitalism even if they have to sit across from a black guy.
