What is this, like, the opposite of occam's razor? The least likely, most esoteric possible explanation is the true one?

Probably a scam since it always links to other places. Chances are it will be a "investment opportunity" or something related.
You join a group of what looks like real people but it actually is just a bunch of bots that say how good some scam product or opportunity is.
Could also be a harassment campaign.
